We're going to be touring down the East Coast over September with a Van full of Toys to play with.

I have a few places in mind where we will be stopping, but I want to know where else we should go on route from the Sunny (rainy) coast to Melbourne.

Any suggestions?

Cheers

Matt,

Let me know when you're close to brissy, would be good to catch up for a session or 2...

Just came back from Hervey Bay - very impressive spot, lots of flat water, just managed to get rained on and gales instead of decent breeze.

It will be good to catch up, but I'm not sure I'm going to be there yet as Ian will be driving the van.

East coast has some terrific kiting locations and have kited as many as possible between Goldie and Newcastle.
Suggest contacting local kiters on your way down for best local spots/wind directions
Am based in Port Macquarie and we have some great spots, flat water and ocean.
Try, Valla, Nambuca Heads, South West Rocks, Lake Cathie, Old Bar to name a few.
If your in Port Macquarie call by X Shore for more info
If the wind is up, It wouldn't take much for me show you the area.

Hey Matt,

Make sure you have an extra 14.5 Ion2 for me. Gonna keep one on hand for demos this summer.

Dave,

Saw you out at Caloundra on the weekend, didn't get to stay and chat - looked like you were on a 12.5? And loving it!

Been meaning to get up there for a kite - but just haven't been lucky enough yet to get wind and a free day - work and uni has been killing me, but hopefully in the next couple of weeks!

Look for any bay (Map will come in handy) on the East Coast and you'll find someone kiting...
