You can kite at the main beach, or go around the headland and kite at the other beach, just don't go around the next headland because thats the airforce range.
I think there are still a few people kiting down there.

yep haha, sorry.
It's usually fairly onshore in a NE at the main beach, but can be good fun. Ive never kited chinamans but I know people that have.
