You will find the the best humour in some of the visually challenged.
My x use to work with them,teaching how to use their dogs.
I remember commenting on a pic in the newspaper and one of them grabbing the paper off me saying,,here,let me see it.

.While purposly also turning it upsidedown as well.

But what most of them do hate is when people try and wrap them in cotton wool,treat them different, and not let them do things for themselves and be over cautious with what they say around them.
The crew that I have met,if I said "ÿou should try kiteing"
The first thing they would have said,with a cheeky grin, would have been"I dont think my dog could do it"
