Hi, I'm looking to buy a board in the next week or so but not sure what to get! It will be my first board but I only want to buy once so I would like something with good progression, I weigh 65kg and am just starting to practise toeside and jumping. Iv been looking at a Crazyfly Raptor LTD (limited edition) 2011 because I Loe the construction and the footbeds on the straps really hold your feet. But saw a Brunti youri Pro 2011 the other day and really like the design. I'm looking to buy something around 135x41 ish. Would these boards be to advanced do you think?

Also does a concave or double concave make it harder Yo learn on and to practise toe side riding?

I have also got my eye on a 2012 slingshot misfit that's on offer!!

Any help or advice on this would be great Or peoples opinions if they own either board?? Iv found it hard getting a review on the 2011 youri!!

Thanks Toby

Don't think we have any distributors in Perth' Crazy Fly are sold by west Oz in safety's should be able to get a Demo of them, not sure of they have added and concave to the new Zoon model this year so if you are after a softer landings might not be the best board, none the less it does look like an awesome board. So much on the market at the moment but still limited to what you can test as not sure how profitable it is for shops to have too wide a selection.......maybe we need a few "kitestock like demo days closer to CBD"

I've got the crazy fly and I think it's a top board.
Not to mention it is cheaper than the other.

Where is the the place I might be able to test the Crazyfly? Do you mean safety bay? Ye your right about test days, so much choice put there yet you have Yo listen to other peoples advice. I reckon in the few couple of years we will start to see more because the progression of quality in the boards has slowed down, they can only make them so good. Then they will have to work twice as hard to sell some of the new years board if that make sense!!

Ye Iv heard good things about it! But the confusing thing is I have found them both online for the same money, about $899. So there is no cheaper side to help sway the descision. Confusing stuff

It doesn't help that I can't look at either of the boards first hand near me, only pictures on the internt!!

Crazy Fly are re-organising distribution in Australia. Anyone interested in selling the brand should give me a call/drop me a line.

Meanwhile they are available from Kitepower, all the models shown here are available.
