Hey just totaled a set of Hyperlite Systems looking for a change can anyone past on their experience/advice.

Which are the Best Set of binding for Kitesurfing?

Bang for your buck, Cab h3 is the best for a low cut boot. I tried plenty and they were the most comfortable, and last more then 1 season. If I wasn't riding for another brand I would still be riding the h3s.
Ps. I blew my hyperlights to smithereens too!

Hyperlites are a great feeling boot/concept with systems Feeling super locked in but in one, just one year long season i went through 3 pairs for boots and now a blown out system binding. id much rather something with more durability!

Totally agree. I love the connection with the board you have with the systems. But yeh mine got distroid... Keepin that in mind I did go through 2 sets of cab h3s befor I fixed the issue I was having. My screws were chewing through the plastic base plate. So in the end I got some big stainless washers, fixed the problem.

You could also look at humanoid boots, they are a good looking boot, i seriously considered these before ronix ones but as could not find anywhere to try them on stuck to what i know. The howl model is the one that Best are promoting, but if you wanted a more serious boot I think the humanoid odyssey is the goods. Same as LFK top velcro strap and lower lace. I had the older lf synergy same design as lfk just newer materials. The base to boot mounting I did not think was that secure and on big slams sometimes the boots would rotate slightly. The little plastic tabs that sit under the mounting plate also can get damaged on big slams if the boot moves. Also hearing good things about the new north boots think they have gotten them dialed in since having hadlow there.

Personally (and I can probably speak for Ewan here also) Hyperlites are the only bindings I've ever had to last longer than a year...

I think there were a few production problems that they are aware of, did you try getting warranty? I'm still yet to ever break a pair, I usually only upgrade once they are too worn out.

p.s. I pay for my boots.

25days out of warranty..... just my luck

if you've got cash then go for ronix. i got the 2016 ones and lasted well last season not really any issue... yeh im not throwing crazy tricks yet (only raily backr/front rolls - not passing bar) yet or had way many crazy crashes but they've last well and i thought they were worth the money. ive also kiting pretty much every windy day over the summer

i tried the cabrina ones but were really uncomfortable.. just my 2 cents

I ride howls, they do the job. Quite a lot of flex. The only thing I don't like is, if you pull a insert on your board, you will loose one of the big bolt thing that locks the boot down.

My Ronix Ones have lasted me 2 years so far... with lots of duct tape!

The hyperlites are such a cool concept, but having just spent a season snowboarding and being fed up with the clicky buckle strap system I don't think I could deal with that on the water, I am already too lazy to tie the laces on my ronixes

My next pair, I'm def going back to velcro

That's good to hear man! Pretty lucky as well, I've been out of warranty by less on a few other brands of binding and they offered me nothing...

The thing some people overlook with Systems is the fact that even if a binding breaks you only need to get a new binding, not a whole set of boots and it's pretty easy to find them cheap on the interweb .
