You're here at the right time. If you're on a surfboard (and why wouldn't you be), then you should be able to hold a 6 or 7m for the season... It's looking promising. Up a size if you're riding a twin tip.

You can get away with one kite for summer, unless you can't handle missing a single day.

Is there no such thing as a light wind day in Perth or something? How do you get away with not have a 12 or bigger. Im on my 14 80% of the time in QLD

If you are on a twintip, a 9 and 12 is what you need. If you only have one kite, make it a 9.

If you are a surfboard dude, a 7 and 9 will do you right...7 if you only get 1.

For boosting a 10 and a 14 on a surfboard or twin tip.For nanny jumps a 9 or 12 will do....on down winders you can use a 9m in 15 knots.sub 15 knots do a down winder on a 12 or 14 m kite.
What type of kites do you have ?

I'm 83kg, and a 9m and a 12m on twin tips (135 and 137cm) sees me out in everything in the range ~15-25 knots which is nearly every day. Above 25 kts it's just more fun on the 9m (the queen of kite sizes). Light wind days sub 15 kts I have a Zephyr, but it only gets used at start and end of the season. You're a little lighter so 8 and 11 might also suit depending on your board size. But 9 & 12 is perfect.

I'm about your size and did two seasons in Perth on a one kite quiver, the airush varial x8, there was some light wind days I wish I had a 12-15, but the freo doctor will have you out for generally four awesome sessions a week on an 8

Make the 12 a cheap one, it'll probably get stolen while you're riding the 9

lol

6, 8 & 10
march can be less windy though so a 7 & 11 might be suitable
a 9 in the last week could of been lit up to the moon with 20-30 knot days, might be ok for the bigger guys but 75kg you would have been cooked

No, you dont need one. Some prefer it but honestly most guys get about in boardies and a rashie.
