Ryland, anyone?

Pretty basic question but I don't actually have a mental list of all the shops in Perth and who sells what brand anymore. My bad.

I know Choicey sells Slingshot but they must have Mondays off, no answer to my email of this morning. Is there anyone else?

Alternatively, does anyone have a trim rope assembly for an 04 fuel bar? Or the whole bar at the right price (without too much wear on the trim rope)? I've still got my mickey mouse swivel, clam cleat and the rest of it, the rope has just finally worn through after a good several hundred hours kiting with it.

Have listed it in 'wanted', but who checks there, seriously? Anyone with an old 04 bar lying around? I doubt it. Plus this is a valid post because I still want to find out the retailers. They might have an old spare in stock that never moved, probably my best bet...

Thanks, have contacted them via their web-form.

Not too hopeful of either shop being able to help on such old gear though (egads! only three years and totally outdated). So if anyone has said chicken rope assembly lying around...

Hopefully I can find a solution without missing out on water time.

Cheers, have also emailed him.

I know I should get out there and try the 07 fuel, but the 04 is just so dear to me, it's probably bordering on unhealthy. Plus the damn thing is indestructible. Maybe next season...

If you don't want to spend the money do not go and try them, I had 04 fuels for two years & changed to octanes last year & they are a big differance & the 07 fuel will be a bit better again.

I've fixed quite a few 04's with the Ozone chicken loop
http://www.kitepower.com.au/catalog/product_16493_Ozone_QR_Chicken_Loop_cat_315.html
I fit the clamcleat to the line in the position that the stock one goes in and fit plastic tubing over the 6mm amsteel line between the cleat and the cloop so that it lasts another 3 years and hundreds of hours.

Might have an original line in stock though, send us an email?
