Any ideas on where would be good to ride during this time? Am flying into Bris, then two weeks down the gold coast. Then a month in sydney, before another month in tweed heads, then leaving from brisbane at the start of november.

What kites should i bring?

Cheers

the wind is pretty gay this time of year, this is our crap season, but in saying that we still get some good days, but generaly it can be a bit gusty and n unpredictable, bring a 12 n something bigger if you can afford the space.

Pitty you really should get up to Cairns during that time. Generally that is their season (and it's warm). I've been in Cairns in May and Oct and it was going off.

Brisbane only once in July (Redcliff I think the locals said they also kite Brighton too{on in every state}) and that was great, but I don't think your in luck on the Gold Coast during those months.

Possibly try http://www.traqua.com.au if it's still running have not been there for a while.

May be I'm really lucky or wrong or both.

Hope you have wind.

Brisbane wind
August - Wind sucks as it will be westerlies and offshore. Spend time with the girlfriend or wife to build up brownee points.

September - Can be good if we have plenty of storms come through and give us the Northeasterlies. But at the same time it can suck with just offshore winds.

October - Now it's rock and roll baby with plenty of NE breezes that slowly build in the afternoon. You should get at least 3-4 days over 15 knots.
