Morning Laurie, Could you please consider a wind wing section? This will help us all by removing all the nay-sayers, childish commentary, grammatically challenged keyboard warriors and other general (self) abuse(rs) from the other topics and threads, and herding then into their own paddock. After all, 15 years ago it was the poleys saying kiting would never go anywhere. Let's just see how things go this time. I'll give it a go, when I can. And surf foiling and foil SUP sections may be the go too. Those guys are pushing the envelope, while kiting and wind surfing are established, and possiblly in ruts. Thanks.

Did you intentionally make spelling, grammer mistakes and rant about the wind wing just to get me alone in our little section together?
Thats kind of sweet.

Havent had a gesture like that since my wife told the cops she was a hooker when i got raided so we could both ride in the car together.

To the windwing section please laurie and take your time alverstone and i have some business to attend to.

Lol the grammar Nazi can't spell, use sentence structure or grammar. Can you lock him to the new 'wind wing' section please Laurie? He can have a go in the 'windsurfing' section as well and can respond to Cauncy posts.

Homeboy with his bendy pole was funny as. What was the reasoning for not using your legs and gravity again? Was there one?

I think wind wings could be pretty cool in the snow. Lots of rocks and **** really mess up your kite lines. And you need a waaaay smaller sail in snow then you do on water.

But all the companys who are just trying to sell theyre offcuts have no snow market so arent even approaching that angle. Cause they dont dont actually care about being useful just sales.

I want to see a wind winger bust a +10m jump or pull off a handle pass

Should be the prerequisite before getting own section - must have at least 1 member of the sport who has blown minds riding the thing

So are you suggesting we currently have members of our kite forum who have blown minds with their riding? It seems like people around here have blown a lot of things but minds probably not one of them!

I take back what i said about the wind wing being good in the snow. Its an unsteerable hang glider. Absolute death trap if it wasnt so inefficient.

Only safety feature was how bad it flys so your unlikely to get yourself into too much trouble.

If your going back country or doing big jumps and gliding just use a kite. Better in every way.

The lines and rocks was only issue but thats clearly outweighed by so god damn many safety risks.

I feel like... THEYVE done something.... The big 5 or 10 or whatever..... Theyve turned all the kitelines in the world into spaghetti and are distracting us with this silly wingaling to keep the heat off them.... Is it the stupid olympics thing again?! They threw all theyre money at the olympics didnt they! And this is the cheapest distraction they could throw at us plebs to buy them time and hope we wouldnt notice.

It has a lot going for it. It is new and exciting and rapidly evolving. Don't underestimate this epic new sport.

People always put down new ideas without being open to new ways of looking completely tragic. That is wrong.

We can disguise sarcasm better than Cameron Bancroft can hide a tiny piece of P120
