Has anyone seen or used the board with the winged keel. it was on the boosting dvd.Are they available in oz and if so how much.it looked like fun!

Thanks simon, i could not remember what they were called. They also cost serious bucks.. oh well i might have to wait intil they come down in price.. way down.i would still like to hear from anyone who has had a go on one

The windsurfing version was about $2500(US!!!!!) so expect to pay a lot.
The man to talk to is Keven Ozee, the manager o Neil Pryde Maui. He and Rush Randle are developing the foils for kites, windsurfing ,surfing etc.

Looks mad though. Will have to try one sone time

Saw an American guy up in Geraldton using a board with some sort of hydro foil keel while kneeling/lying on the board getting big air, made the boards himself. He had some sort of ankle or tendon problem at the time, was about 3 years back though. Try Mr Hirschhausen for info, he may know more about him.

waterskiiers warehouse in sydney have the skiing version where you sit on it. I've used it a few times... a lot of fun in rough water because you just glide over it, i dont think i would use it for kiteing though, it can be a bit tricky to learn.
