Hi
A question for the North Queensland kite surfing massive.
What is the weather like up there in July / August (around Port Douglas area)? is there any good Kite surfing to be had, or have you all decamped to Fiji?

You can generally expect the SE trades to be coming through that range from 15-25. The last couple of years haven't been as consistant as previous ones, but after a monster wet, we're all hoping for a great winter.

You can expect some good winds around the Townsville / Magnetic Island area in July / Aug, and there will be a lot less rain and grey skies than you'll see in Cairns & Port Douglas!
