Was not happy to get wind of this latest report for Jervoise Bay, which is home to my local spot, and many others .. Woodies.

They're suggesting that it's ok for people, just don't eat the fish! It's a bit confusing, as they suggest the samples may be taken from near the boat ramp. Do boats dump their loo's there before loading em on the trailor? Is it indicative of where we kite?

There's also the waste recyling plant up the top of the hill, yet I was under the impression it pumped it far far out to sea, past the continental shelf? .. maybe the poo is from the boats?

The Woodman Point Wastewater Treatment Plant has two outfalls, the first a couple of km's offshore from Point Peron (known as the Sepia Depression Ocean Outfall) and a second (supposedly emergency use only) at Jervoise Bay.

The Jervoise Bay outfall is inside the marina area, it was constructed before the marina was built.

Perhaps the supposed emergency outfall is leaking?
