New to Perth. Have read that Woodies has a car break in issue. How true is this? I'm from North Perth but during the week I'm keen to try out.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Cheers

Take your car down there and leave a mobile phone and wallet on the seat..

Come back on here and let us know what happens... Just so we know its not total BS as the locals tend to exagerate a bit.

yep bit of break in trouble there, just leave your car unlocked so they don't need to smash the window !! Might hurt themselves Anyway just don't leave anything of value in the car !!

Go with a mate in one car. One of you kites so the crooks think he is the only one out.
Meanwhile you hide in the bushes and then beat the living bejeezus out of those who break into cars there.

This was giving windsurfers the sh!ts 20yrs ago there (and other nearby spots), especially in winter when no normal people are around doing whatever boring crap they do, like walking dogs or taking photo's of sand.
And its still going on....

Not as bad as people make it out. I've kited there since 2008 and never had an issue. There's usually always heaps of other people around kiting, fishing and what-not.

^^^^ Oh not at all Vic.

I think one could confront them and say "Stop right there, thief. I speak for al watersports enthusiasts when I say you are a blight upon society, and I beseech thee for the damage one has caused to the cars here of many years. I care not for your excuses, evil doer, and I wish you to stop lest I call the fkn po-po"
then we they turn on you, they started it so you can beat the snot out of them.

I respond to threads here that interest me or where I may have input. eg: they break into windsurfers cars too ya know.
Is that not allowed? If so, sorry.

If so, also could you lot could take back the regular trolls who go to the windsurfing forum 10x more than I post here

Oh, I know he does Darth, you can tell by his long winded replies, that he needs someone like me to while away those little hours when it's not blowin 30+ knots, and you have no life other than to posture on SB.

Scum breaking into poleriders cars ? Ha Ha Ha, only to nick your wallet and fone, as if they'd wanna nick your gear

And why do poleys even go to Woodies other than to ride backward and forward, backward and forward, you could stay at home and mow the lawn (at least your spouse would be grateful, being that he may work long hours)

Ok folks, I'm going into the mindset of a poley at Woodies

Wow I'm goin real fast, oohh there's a lip coming up, BOOOOOOST

(.5 seconds later) WOW that must have been a good three foot, and I landed it, ohh god I'm unreal, I'll have to hook back in so I've got a free hand to adjust the swelling down there. I'll bet if any other pole riders saw that, they'll think I'm Godlike now, and may wish to dress me up as such, Hmmm, or maybe in a Thor costume
