At the North beach, the point wraps around into a bay (sort-of), so, the further you get into it the more cross it becomes. Thus, it depends on where you are when the **** hits. It's probably more accurate to say that the point faces a little bit NW, so, as you go along or down it gets more cross. But, yes, come off in the wrong spot and you could be in a bit of trouble. The good news is that there is usually plenty out and someone will come and tow if you wait long enough

It's where its all happening and you see some amazing boosts there.
Not so much of an issue this time of year, but on a true sw seabreeze, we have gone out when it's 20-22 knts and its blown up to 25-28 knts (+!). You are probably a lot more competent then me but I find self-landing at those speeds a bit problematic. Seen lots of dune munching - and I include myself in that (only once).
