Looking at doing a working holiday, somewhere where i can kite.....does anyone know of anywhere or have any contacts somewhere?

Experienced in many areas and also a conditioned kiter

hay mate, in Dec 07 I spend 5 weeks in Mui Ne Vietnam, it is a small coastal town that only exists due to the kiting population. It is basically a 10km road along the beach with hotels on both sides ranging from budget accomidation $4 per night to $300+ luxury. There is a great kiting community that all do working seasons and another 200 or so holidaymakers at any one time. Apparently on good days there are up to 200 kites on the water.

Wind conditions are normally very good - 5 or 6 days a week you get 15K at 11Am building to 25-30 by mid afternoon and on really good days 35 by evening - On bad days you can pick up a bit of surf at different beaches. Standard kite size is a 9 and a seven for windy days

I don't know if you have ever travelled or lives in a developing country but its a bit different - however it is very cheap to live $20 aus per day will do on the cheap, and food and drink are very good value - A lobster dinner and 10 beers will set you back about $12 Aus.
