Hey,

I've just brought a Xbow 9m and I’ve heard a lot about modifying it to get the same pressure and performance as the switchblade.

Can anyone shed any light as I’m not to sure what the modification involves.

Cheers

Ben

Tedfia,

This topic has been done to death here AND on Kiteforum

Please use the Search function so you don't repeat more of the same

Look for Xbow and the user Fitzy.

By the way it isn't warranted for the 9m as it is too small and has little or no pressure anyway. SWEET kite. Hope you have winds to fly it cos there ain't much for a 9 for a while. A long while unless you are moving up north like you said. Wondering how I know huh ?

one thing not talked about.

when connecting your main line (the one with the little pulley on it) to the leading edge of the kite do not use a knot. The connection must be flush like the other bridle point connections. If there is movement due to the use of a normal knot it will wear away the connection point on the leading edge. Not easy to replace.
