Ok..
You know you need a new kite when your kite is sailing away to the horizon due to the over-use of your kite line connections. therefore they snap.

when i tore the trailing edge off it, and kept flying it for the day until the end, when it tore from trailing edge to leading edge

When you do a unhooked jump and accidentally let go, just after realise u 4got to put the safety leesh on. then u finally find your kite wrapped around power lines![}:)]
