For those of you who have sites banned at work and cant watch videos instead of working (who wants to do that anyways?)

I used this program to go onto...ummm myspace...yeah that'll do during High school Religion, Maths, Social Studies...heck even sport.

www.proxify.com

Try it for yourself with features like text only to avoid those nasty pictures in your temp internet folders...

best of all its free

A proxy wont do stuff all because it’s a filter on your IT end, it’s not the site you’re trying to view blocking you.

See it like car traffic - the proxy is your car being camouflaged so that it can drive down the road towards youtube and since youtube cant see what’s behind the proxy it cant ban you, but since youtube isn’t the one doing the banning/filtering it's pointless using a proxy unless of course you been naughty on youtube and they have banned your isp, on the flip coin, if youtubes car drives down the same road to you.. Your proxy doesn’t do anything to hide youtube from the traffic cop/filter that’s stopping youtube from getting to you so the cop notices youtube and pulls them up.

thats going off my limited knowledge of proxies - I might be wrong

a proxy like proxify is different to using a normal proxy. ^^

All the traffic will look like its comming from the proxify website.

In a simplified way its like taking a screenshot of the website u are looking at and hosting it on the proxify website. u go to the proxify website and look at the screenshot. but instead of a screenshot its actually a website.
