Zipper Wont move....Help

flying to cairns in a few days and the bloody gear bag zipper wont move...Need some tips to free zipper...or going to have to pack it all in coles green bags,,,,
Its just been sprayed in wd 40

wiggle it around then spray it some more.....there is better stuff than wd40, Coventry Fasteners stock some good stuff try them

Silicone spray has worked for mine.

boiling hot water, and then spray a little bit of milk onto the zip.
100% success rate.

give it a try.

If its salted up, the best thing you can use is vinegar. I know it sounds funny, but vinegar will take even hectic salt build up off anything.

I've also heard this works.

Otherwise you might have to get a pair of pliers onto it and pull it firmly. A few taps with a hammer can sometimes loosen the oxidised parts. Once corrosion sets in you have real problems. If all else fails buy a new bag with a nylon zipper.

Soak it in Coke Cola. Works a treat.
Tastes great with Rum too.

Works on carpet red wine stains if you get it before it dries.
Soak the spot with coke for a couple seconds,
throw a towel over it and stand on it to soak it up.
Done it a millon times for my clumbsy mates...

2 zippers on gear bag and one zip on 06 cab bag.. done.. the winner of ideas is boiling water on zip then spray milk. works within seconds....
wd40 does not work..vinager help get rid of corosion a little....

As already stated just soak it in boiling water to free it up then use silicone spray to stop it happening again.
