i got kinda bord... tied a camera phone to the kite

a good trick is to teach a really small friend, when its windy hes way too powered to be giving lessons to and if its not windy enough to kite yourself its funny to watch him get owned a couple times

There was three kites out at my local on the way home yesterday arvo so I grab my kit and headed down, by the time I had set up there was only one out and wind was dropping.
I was desperate though so headed out anyway. There was a lull almost as soon as I got out through the surf, my kite dropped and wouldn't relaunch a wave got hold of it and ripped it in half straight down the centre strut.

Yep thats exactly what I was thinking, do it the old way, got a week off shortly and I'm heading up to one of those secret spots up north. Just don't know if this old bloke can still paddle into a decent size wave. Or handle the late take off drop that will probably result from my slow paddling, haven't had much practice since i took up kiting. Hope I don't break something , like my neck or my ego!
