Noticed some polies there once - anyone kited at Giullotines/Gallows (the northern one)?

good luck to anyone who tried. the take off area is so small and usually crowded on good days the surfers would get extremely pissed off. I have surfed there for many years.

Gallows is the one, we grew up suring there, have windsurfed the place and have always thought about kitesurfing there.

Its bizarre, because as surfers it always seemed so onshore, then as a kitesurfer it seems so offshore. So you need a true SW onshore wind direction for it to be doable.

On a big swell with this direction wind - Gallows would be awesome.

I might even go it this weekend.

plenty of beach up wind
might be a bit whirly inshore from the headland
bombie the go

let us know
dont be afraid to go alone

a mate has been kiting lefties,& down winders to the car park
could go even further
ellensbrook, especially the bombie down to cobbles

Looks like no s/sw and best option for a kite might be Augusta on Sunday on the south easterly.
