They probably have, but never to be found again. I wouldn't kite there, too many crocs, and remember they are salties, can be found on the beach. And unlike sharks, we are part of their diet if they can get us, sharks really do not want humans, not high enough fat content.

There are plenty of kiters in Darwin, most of them kite at lee point. Crocs aren't that big a problem in the open ocean, just don't kite near creeks or river mouths. I have lived in Darwin for 15 years and have only ever seen one croc at a beach....

Yeah i'm a boarder up here.. there are plenty of boarders up here some days 25 to 30 boarders on the water. Its just waiting for the windy days..plenty of locations depending on wind direction.. I S.U.P as well now on the no wind days. Don't worry about the wildlife. Its same all over aus.. its a very rare sight to see a croc in the open water.. the odd stinger in the wet. seen lot more wildlife when i was in the ville..

Hey Garreth,

yeah the old 20 got the rubbish treatment after the bladders failed again ( I was sick of fixing them, plus the old girl was stretched to buggery) and since the 16's are better now I went the way of smaller kite. Mind you, I'm thinking a 14m might be my next choice next year, especially since the Rhino has got heaps of grunt.

Colin, we've had heaps of wind the last month, where are you, maybe spending too much time editing and looking after the new little one? Get the pretty Vegas a hiding on the beach again.

cheers,

Robert.

I've been away.......OF course it's been windy!!!

Yeah being redundant is more time consuming than you might think.

you saw this other video right???

The pretty Vegas will be at the Beach on Friday wearing her new Patch job with pride!(Wind pending.)
Can't find my (your) bar and lines, i think the repairer may have misplaced them, but other wise i have left them at the beach 3 weeks ago......ANYONE GOT that old green/yellow and black bar with the tennis raquet grip on one end?? would love it back, the Vegas won't like being flown 4 line again.

and the little ones are fine too!
