So interesting, such a difference between East and West, I don't own a kite bigger than a 9m. Simply find it hard to visualise not having days on a 7m.....what a horrible, horrible thought.

Happy New Year, may you hopefully experience the pure joy of a 7m in 2-5m swell at your favourite wave location.

yer thanx Roo but no thanx its snot really what I had in mind

Sunseeker ,Noosa north shore was a no go as there was no beach to drive on so went out to lake cootharabah for a bit of a play around, pretty average> keen to get out in the surf when them 40 knot gusts back off or when somebody/anyone loans me a 7 or gives me a late christmas present !

for SURF and strong winds.. 5.5m generator from airush.. i was on the 7.5 yesterday and WOWIE WOW. it was nuts.. you can put it exactly wher you want it.. super stable unhooked for both freestyle and down the liney kinda stuff.. biiiig kiteloops.

5.5 would b nicer for the surf as it generates ALOT of power in the turns, they are made to be worked the fk out of to get massive smooth power! yet when its windy it sits in the wind nicely.
