That massive boat makes a decent boost look quite insignificant. I'd say the boat and crew were the show ponies and the dude with the "poormans ski boat" was just checking it out.
A bride was making an entrance in a big boat to Squids Ink function centre on the shore of Lake Macquarie for a wedding there. Macca couldn't help himself, popping one air transition after another right on top of the boat. The boat docked and the bride landed, but he hadn't finished. He buzzed the jetty a few times, boosting large loops for the congregation to see. It was fun to watch, and, I imagine, a memorable event for all at the wedding, especially the bride, assuming he didn't splash her makeup.
I've always been amazed at the arrogance that kiteboarders show in assuming that everyone wants to see them. Hey, I love freestyle motorcross and there is nothing more amazing than seeing guys doing double backflips but I'm not sure if I'd want guys doing it outside my wedding, where, lets be honest, the bride actually wants the attention on her, not some douche trying to show off to people he doesn't know or be in photos he'll never see.
