Hi
I am living in Brooklyn and going to travel to Indonesia for July and half of the August with my family ( it involves two small kids 3 and 5 ) I am only interested in wave riding and i am very experienced. I am looking for spots recommendation and any advice. My initial plan is to spend some time in Bali (starting at Balian) then travel to Lumbok and Sumbawa (Lackey point) by ferry boat and come back by the plane, bot nor sure if it is a good idea.
I dont know much about indo ( ppl in my part of world have very limited knowledge) so any tips and recommendation would be great !
thank you!

Hi. Just back from Lakey. If you are looking for family friendly accomodation then check out Rock pool it is about $40 aud a night or Didi homestay which is huge for around $20 aud a night. Both have family on site at all times and are close to the kiting spots. Enjoy

Hah hey Przemek!

Welcome to the forum - I spent a bit of time hanging out with you in Cabarete years ago, introduced to you through mutual friend Laurel. Glad to hear you are still kiting.

Good luck on your trip to Indo, you should have a blast

I've done a lot of scuba diving around Bali, but have never kited there. Not a lot of wind. Maybe some other guys could clarify this but I think it's an awesome surf location though the winds may let you down.
