i'm heading to bali in early December for about a week, i was wondering if it was worth bringing my gear or even worth looking into grabbing couple sessions while i'm up there

Wind forcast looks sad for at least the next week :( - and another forcast looks just as bad - but on the up side it does look to be good drinking weather :)

If you weight less than 35 kgs like the locals and have a 16M kite don't bother!!

The westerlies havnt started yet, and the s/e lys have finished. Extremely unlikely you will get any rideable wind in bali. There is still wind in the gilis, although it is getting patchy. May be the odd day in north bali ifyou dont mind long shots...
