Just search the forum. This topic has popped up quite a few times and you will also be able to see what people are doing to prevent bans and also be able to see a lot of opinions on the topic too.

Good Luck

Hi
I'm working with southerland council and Byron council to open up areas for children to learn the sport. We have already started the process in Cronulla with after school care next term.

Reading the newspaper article posted at the above link, I see that the authorities have noticed that kitesurfing is dangerous "particularly to bystanders"; I don't think they mind so much if you hurt yourselves. So, restricting kiters from using popular/crowded beaches would make some kind of sense. Unfortunately, self-policing among kiters will only work with the responsible ones, not the d!@kheads. Nothing against kiters, hey if windsurfing involved 20m lines and giant out-of-control kites I'd expect to see it banned as well.

BTW Alez Sanz, no offense but you must be nuts, talking about getting children into kiting. What are you smoking??
