I want to take the 5th line off my bar on my 06 fuel 9m
cause its gay for unhooked stuff(im just starting) and just twists up but were is the best spot for the leash?
should it go on the oh-**** or somewhere else?

clip it onto the chicken loop.
be careful when you drop the bar and go to grab the chicken loop again, its really easy to get the quick release instead by accident and you lose the kite.
