Rookie is a term (mainly in North American usage) for a person who is in their first year of play of their sport and has little or no experience.

There is a young grom here in the west landing some of the leatest and greatest moves like s bend to blind and kite looping in 25+ knots and he will be over there for the nationals soon so look out for this one.

If only I had the resources to sponser this lad

Was up at Caloundra the other day and there are 2 young kids (only 1 that day) who look like they go really well. One rides an f-one and the other guy on torches (think this is you andyy?).
Anyhow nice smooth riders with a lot of potential for competition riding if that's what they want - way to go. Really like those high hooked in kite loops, would love to see lenten doing his one day.

But the classic moment was when your mum came over and told you to be more careful - priceless!!!

hey i agree, i saw the young guy on the naish on sunday. He was killing it man, i was so impressed. He seemed like a nice young kid aswell. He was landing all sorts of passes and double s-bend to blind. The thing that impressed me most was the style he was doing things with.

hahahhahahaa. rookies. although happy doesnt look like a grom, he is and im pretty sure he is killin it. by the way everyone can waveride im pretty sure it counts for nothing.

not quite sure what your talking about there are groms landing alot more then s-bend to blind and 25+ kiteloops in W.A....
