hi everyone ive been kiting in sydney 4 years and never kited over at cronulla/wanda and am heading down for a blast tomorrow. i was wondering where the best place was to set up. i recently sold my 4x4 so only have 2 wheel drive car. looks like the wind will be good down there so any help would be apreciated. cheers stu.
Hey Stu There are two places people general congregate: 1} Near the curved area of the parking lot There is a table there walk down to the beach past the Obs Platform Don't rig here if they are running Nippers or have flags up 2} Park north of the Heli pad and use any of the paths down to the beach. If you pump up on the grass make sure your not on the heli pad or to close to The Westpac chopper can land there at any time. go a bit north of the wind sock.
Check out the swell size on Coastalwatch before you commit though.
