From Esperance to Exmouth, WA is one big wind-pit.
All year round.
The only time it stops blowing for a second is when it changes direction.
Surfers and fishermen are driven insane with the incessant howling.
The wind is so strong and consistent in some parts that the trees grow sideways.

You're all probably sick of it by now but Shark Bay for flat water is insane. This week Monkey Mia 4 days outa 5, its on tomorrow 15-20 ESE first thing in the morning. Had a great 15 kt south in Denham yesterday and if it gets up tonight I'm out there, low tide, hoping for the se, just add lonely kiteboarder and beer to the mix and instant joy. Only prob is that its bloody cold at the moment, I'm really glad that wetsuits were invented.

No way dude, long live Winter, the surf's been all time this week. Buy a good wetty and a 6'6" and go paddling. Oh, and a boat to hit the outer reefs!

Hey Kitehard
Monkey Mia is a good place to stay at the moment for the easterlies in the morning. Denhams offshore and only once a week or so will produce southerlies. Theres heaps of accomadation at MM, just give it a couple of weeks until school holidays are over then it will be quiet again, YAY. Just finished kiting this morning at MM 15- 18 ESE for a couple of hours, couple of French crew out there as well. Good to kite with crew up here gets a bit lonesome kiting by myself all the time. Waters bloody cold so bring ya steamer and booties and give me a call when you get here on 0409107456.
