What do people think about the possibility of using a wakeskate (possibly with some added foot straps and maybe even fins) as a kiteboard.
Ive seen a number of newer kiteboards share similar designs to a wakeskate (obviousle a skate has no fins however).
What about kiteboarding with a wakeboard - my initial thoughts are there might be too much rocker in a wakeboard, would this be so bad though?
Just trying to think outside the square abit as im livin in the US at the moment and wakeboards and wake skates are supercheap - kiteboards are still more of a niche and attract a heavy price tag.

Anyone got any thoughts/ideas?

more rocker= more power needed.... u would have to be really powered for it to be good... my last board had a fair bit of rocker so unless powered was impossible to do any tricks hooked or unhooked...

I thought the rocker would be a problem....thats why i was thinking of a wakeskate, they appear to have less rocker than a wakeboard. That could just be the one my freind has though as i dont have a whole world of experience with wakeskates.
