Hey mate, I love mine for my general riding around, very comfortable, the lower pull doesnt really matter either, they arnt so good for unhooking as you have to pull down a bit further to get the chicken loop back in, but you can do it, you get used to riding with them toeside also, I have the Dakine Nitros shorts and alternate between them and the waist harness.

As long as you adjust yourself properly before you start, they are great. No adjustment and a quick moving kite might impact the low hanging fruit.

I sold the Dakine Nitrous in my shop for 5 seasons. Lots of very wary, sceptical customers but not one ever came back disappointed. Thats the feedback from kiters changing from waists & from the old nappy styled seats.
I use them, love them, myself as well but thats just one opinion - 100+ happy kiters is a way better guide.
Wear them as your boardies & carry your bar in your kite bag. So simples.

NB No mods needed to take the DynaBar hook. This may be go for those used to the different hook angle a loose waist harness offers.
But again imo the DynaBar is a must have - no arguments from loads of customers on that one either. Brilliant.

Love mine but only use it for backhander waves, got rid of hook and installed a piece of rope as i don't unhook.

Great for travel too, less bulk

^^^^ Im confused ?? if you remove the spreader bar and hook - how does a piece of rope work ? How do you hook into a rope with a chicken look and donkeys dick ? Is all the pull pressure on the donkeys dick ??

The rope is just an alternative to the steel bar that the hook slides on.
Dont know about others but the DynaBar comes with both - steel bar & rope. Your choice.From experience in the shop Im estimating about 80% prefer the rope as the slider.Rope fans find the steel too clunky.Steel rod fans claim it slides more smoothly.Personally I prefer the rope but you get both to try.
