I own one myself and absolutely love it but I can't really give too much of a fair review as I've only ever ridden a Cabrinha.

I have 13m xbow ids and have been riding it for the last three months. I *£^&£*@ love this kite!
Also have a 10m swichblade 3

I would say it's range is from 8 to about 18 knots which is unreal for 75 kg bloke. I have seen people riding them in more tho.
Build qualiity is great with external tubes for the one pump system
Bar pressure is fairly heavy on the "light" setting and moderate on the "lighter" setting. It's difficult to explain but there is a mild, sort of spongy feeling on this kite. I think its a slight delay between input and response but once you get over that it turns very fast for a big kite.
I'm not really into unhooking but a mate has tried and says it's really powerful, possibly a bit too grunty for it.
Lift is awesome with the most gental float back down I've ever felt.
Relauch is easy except in very light winds (8 knots). You have to treat it like a 4 line in less than 10 knots, but be sure to keep at least a little tension on the back lines when its on its back.
The quick release is great for landing but almost useless on the water because the bar disappears half way up the lines. You don't need a QR because depower is massive anyway.

This is a sick kite but i think it's best for massive air and freeride

Hope this helps

Ok I sell them but I also have put one in the demo fleet so that I can use it, I really like this kite, and I have a 9M too and a 13!
They have medium bar pressure, its more noticeable if you are trying to work the kite for low end otherwise I would say within its wind range it just average and I never get sore arms from it.

The kite boosts large, and being a 7 strut kite it has a more powerful sweep turn compared to the more pivotal turn of the SB's and other kites. It still turns quick especially once you dial how to trim it and ride it.
Best performance is when the kite is used within its wind range and not ridden overpowered and beyond its range with lots of trimmer but arms still extended.
This is true of all kites really, but I don't rate this as a kite that can be ridden outside its wind range and still be any fun.
In saying that it still has a typical bow kite large wind range and for an 80 kg rider (I'm currently about 75kg) will be from 15 - 30 knots approx, on a 1.33 Caliber or 1.32 FLX, which are the two boards I use most.
I fell most confident kiting alone on the CB IDS because I can easily self launch and self land, relaunch from the water is very good, better/easier than the SB IDS kites.
They are excellent upwind machines they have a lot of lift which you notice in the height of the jumps that you can easily get when well powered.
Optimal/fun wind range would be 18 -28 knots for me.
Construction of the kites themselves last year and now this year is extremely good, zero warranty claims for both years so far for kites.
There have been some minor issues early in the release of the kite with the IDS line needing an upgrade and the overide stopper also needing an upgrade, both are free upgrades and all new kites come with them now.
Excellent kites that you will have a long life from and heaps of fun, good resale value potential if looked after and not ripped up.
Cabrinha brand gives some of the best back up and service in the industry and the kites come with 12 months warranty.
Several local riders that use surfboards/mutants love the kites in surf.
This years CB IDS has no pulleys on the bar and only 6 in the kite 3 per side.

Cya and

Goodwinds

Spot on Steve,

I agree the 10m CB is a Fantastic kite. Bigger wind range than the SB and most other kites,But at the same time for a flatter kite it still turns nice and fast!

The Crossbow Jumps huge with massive float. You just need to remember to keep pulling in on the bar to hold the power on to keep you going up. Unlike the SB the CB will dump its power very quickly once the bar is sheeted out even just a little. This is a great feature as it makes the kite very easy to use in gusty strong conditions. It also allows you to hold your edge better when setting your self up for a jump.

Regards

Luke
