Clean off any surplus adhesive with turps and dry the pads and board in the sun.
Get a manilla folder and trace the outline of the pads. Cut out the pad shape to end up with a "stencil" (hole shaped like the pad on the cardboard"
Put this stencil on the board where you want the pad to be placed and spray on some spray adhesive. Obtainable at most paint or automotive stores like SuperCheap Autos. When you lift off the cardboard you will have a perfect pad shape of adhesive applied to the board.
Spray the back of your footpad with the adhesive and leave it to dry for about 5 to 10 minutes till it is fairly dry.
Then just apply the pads to the board and stand on them to get a good bond.
This is brilliant! Sounds like it's essential that all the turps gets out of the pads before you reapply them. Does leaving it in the sun do a good enough job? (especially as it's now friggin cold here, even in the sun. At least by my standards . I HATE WINTER)
Thanks for the input everyone. Will see how I get on.
