Has anyone ever been to cape hatteras before?
and if so how was it for flat water and waves?
I'm am looking for a place to kite between march and june, i'm reasonably advanced and have about 4 grand to throw away.

just very jealous....looks like a good place for learners on the videos...big flat shallow bay, dunno much else.
