So ive noticed that the webcam which pans over the st kilda area has gone down, i regularily use it to check conditions and see how much of a crowd there is down there, and sometimes i just daydream while im at work, wishing i was out there.

ANYWAY....i contacted the site administrators regarding this as thought it may just be 'injured' or something and i got this reply.

Unfortunately the st kilda cam has been removed, there was little interest in it so it has been de-commissioned. We still have the lighthouse cam available.

so i suggested that he point it towards the kite beach and leave it there rather than panning, and whether there was any chance of it being re-deployed.

If so, is there any chance to get it more exposure that we could have it linked on this site (perhaps a link in the graphs section to web cams at all kite beaches available)
