same thing as sleeping with a transexual ....... unless you simply dig being kinky, forget about it!

The big issue is not the 5th line, its the cut of the kite, bladder volume, and 25 other things that have changed since the ark.......

and if you still want to do it, go find an 05 SS ........ available cheap now that the 06 has blown everything else out of the water

in real world speaking you would spend more converting it, than getting a 1 season old kite theese days.

there is nothing wrong with doing that it should only take about 20 mins and $100 to do (alot cheaper than a new kite)

$30 dollars is more like it. Last year I had two old 4line kites converted to 5th line. Kite Magic in coogee did it for me. He added reinforced connection points, triple stiched the leading edge back together at the point where he opened it and sewed a ring into the webbing of my depower strap for the 5th line to slide through.

This for two kites and two bars all while I waited. took about 35min. total cost was 30 dollars. The guy is way to nice, he should probably charge more but I am not going to argue that point with him.

No it does not include lines or the ring. Those will cost you. I picked up a stainless ring from the marine store for around $6 and I had some old kitelines around to use for the fithlines.
