Hi to coolum locals. Can anyone let me know what the conditions are like for surf sailing in late September? And where the best spots are. I,m coming up with family and any tips would be great. I,m not an aggressive sailor and will not impact on any crowds.
Coolum is a great spot for waves The local crew base themselves at Stumers ck just ikm north of the main beach. Watch out for the submerged rock point just south of the creek. Sept can be ok we had 3 weeks of perfect ne wind last sept - The local mainly do downwinders between Sunshine beach and Coolum you can catch the bus for 3.60 to avoid car shuttles - perfect safe beach but please just stay well away from the flags when you go past
