hey
doesany one know if the coolum downwinder is worth doing?? i know it is kind of a long way away but just fort i might put a post up bout it cause cumming down for a holiday around that time

matters what you prefer, i like the mudjimba-coolum run the best as you go around the points which is insanly fun for surfstyle if your not scared of rocks. the coolum-sunrise run is longer with bigger waves but no sketchy rock points to challenge, overall the area around coolum is pretty good, same as anyother of our sunnycoast runs

the onli thing i am worried about is loosing my board in the mega mega current. what a bout for wave riding is like dickey beach any good

Open beaches from Pt Cartright to Currimundi are the go. Dicky Beach has a swimming reserve and you will get your arse kicked if you kite there too long. Its sketchy in anything but a NE anyway.
