I managed to be waiting at a bus stop to go pick my van up from mechanic. Bus stop had a roof that did nothing and no walls thanks to vandals. Being a forward planner, I had left work early getting a lift to the bus stop so as not to have to wait too long. While waiting, my organised and well prepared thoughts led me to check to make sure I had the right change. Only to discover I had not even brought my wallet...
I waited over an hour in the rain for my understanding licenseless girl friend to catch a bus to where I was and then catch a bus back home with me. I haven't been wet through all layers and soooooooo cold for a long time. The only thing keeping me from going crazy was just being entertained by awesome squalls of horizontal rain.
My van is still at the mechanic. I'll try again tomorrow if my van isn't washed away by the rising river beside the mechanics..

Hahaha that sucks, if you just asked the bus driver he would have let you on you know.
Tree crushed a fence out the front of my place, pretty sweet.

Yeah maybe but bus home was an hour off anyway. bus to get my van was earlier and I wouldn't have been able to pay for the work with no wallet... I'm pretty stupid sometimes..
Yeah my fence is blown down and broken. been gusting between 18 and 48knots since yesterday avo. surf at caba is breaking like over a km further out than the headland. its messy and MASSIVE. Got my van safely home from Murbah after driving thru tweed river water flooding the road between murhab and tweed.
No kiting for me. I've got a sore back. (code for too scared).
