have not flown either kite yet but........third hand info ......
the nova had alot of extra development time and uses the pulleys up closer to the kite. The crossbow bar,........ complex, bar might be a learning expirence, those guys seem to like complicated bar set-ups.
I re-iterate that my info is from a friend of some dude who allegedly flew both in France.
Just wait until you can fly them both and then You can be the judge. It`s really the only way.
