Anyone up north been effected by this yet hope it does not do too much damage. As it tracks down the coast as predicted, should be some great conditions for surfing and kiting.
Last I heard it was not going to make it far enough south to give Sydney any wind - cause that's what it is going to take for us to get a sail at the moment...
We are in Mackay, and not much wind at the moment but is certainly raining a shi load. Looks like this system is going to head firther south, so heads up..
Bowen was a bit of a non-event last night. light rain, some reasonably strong wind but not strong enough to knock down trees. Got the storm surge through with high tide this morning.
Here's some pics from our cyclone mooring in Hay Point Mackay. The wind has just started to pick up now - we're looking at 40+ knots at the moment. Some greeenies are coming over the wall now. Luckily it should be low tide when it goes past (fingers crossed) so we can hide behind the rock wall!

Good luck to everyone Cheers
Nice quality shots but where is the action? Maybe I need to look at weather forecast.
