i was just about to post a new topic up regarding adobe after effects... so this topic is good timing for me to go off topic slightly.....
the andy gordon fx where he uses two camera's to rotate the action mid air, i kind of have a vague idea how it can be done... although a little lost on the names of the fx thats used, yes i do want to try to copy the master of kite movies..
my idea is he uses the two footages from both camera and "curves" each footage ,finding the center of each footage and overlaying (cloning) them together then using the 3d camera in ae to track around the curve (or maybe a better expression is cylinder) combined footage for the 3d space effect? i might be way off the mark ....
my question is how do i curve the initial footage, whats the name of the effects - if thats how its done as i havnt had much luck finding anything on google
... also anyone know of any good tutorials that can set me on the right path..
after effects is great, man so much stuff you can do with the special effects its insane!
