hi guys, during our midwest windfest big downwinder, i did a few gear checks prior to giving the guys the all clear to head off, a fair few had their leash attatched to the rear of harness, we lost a local here along with many others worldwide from drowning due to not being able to reach the leash, along with a line knife its a simple fix to keep the % of safety on the water, check and change you leash

And make sure the leash QR is at the harness end and not back to front where you can't reach it when it's still connected to an out of control freight train.

I would say that irregardless of the harness attachment point. It would be best to get into muscle memory the action of using it.

Yep, drop your kite in the break and everything goes to **** muscle memory could save you a kite and even your life
hard to do **** out haven't done before when you are getting dragged upside down under water
for surf the Cabrinha short leash is the go imo
