if any one is keen iam doing a downwinder this saturday. leave blue duck in cott at 3 and finish at brighton. if anyone is coming stay clear of the swimming area at city beach and avoid going between the 2 groins. if u are thinking bout coming and have never done one before it is better 2 be under powered as u are going down wind anyway. saturdays forecast is bout 20knts sw and 2 metre swell should be fun. so probally 10m kites. see ya there. I'm thinking we may upset the ranger or Cottesloe gestappo, I dont think we are actually alowed to kite their??, this beach also can get real busy on a sunny day and 10-20 kites may be a problem

If the forcast looks ok ill come along. Kiting nude has the potential to be very painful. A carton of beer definately isnt enough of a bribe for me.

When we were white water kayaking we used to do :-
'THE CAR SHUFFLE '
Everyone meets at launch site - say 6 cars arrive with a couple of kiters in each car.
2 drivers take 2 cars to the landing site.
1 car returns to the launch site with both drivers.
Everyone gets to run the course then -
All 6 drivers return to the launch site in the 1 parked car.
All cars then return for the party at the landing site where all the passengers are usually 3/4 pssed already
Bit of a pain the Rs but effective & can make the day more of a cooperative group thingy.

Just adds variety to the usual, ordinary, everyday 'in-&-outer'

I don't think you boys really want to see the girls kiting in the nude. To try and improve my leg tan I rolled the legs of my spring suit up as high as they'd go. The video footage of my thighs/butt wobbling along was NOT pretty!
