anyone used a flowrider yet? Dreamworlds is opening soon ( www.dreamworld.com.au/flowrider ) pretty cheap @ $240 with up to 12 people, so only $20 each, sounds like good fun to me!

"15 people can rotate in a thirty minute FlowRider session for just $5 per person" So 2 minutes for $5 not sure but depends i guess. Looks like one of those ones with the jets thrusting waterf up a small half pipe sorta thing?, if so arent they fairly dangerous due to the force. Got to admit best on I've ridden was in a KL prope head height spilling wave and 10 people surfed at once on malswas similar to our 'wave' pools but the wave actually broke was awesomne beside the 10 other kooks on there lol
Thanks
Matt

Yeah i have been riding it all week training up the staff with sean barnes from hawaii. Yeah the ride is rocking its totally different from any other board sport we had pro surfers like luke egan on it eating ****! It is a great leveller and i reckon that becuase its difficult to learn itll keep the interest up. Only a matter of time before we get a barrel like the one in durban - www.wavehouse.co.za that **** is dope!!

Just wish it would stop raining

lucky u kitegrom, yeh i figure they can't have a barrel style wave cause too many people would get nailed.. its good to see the pro surfers eating it like the rest of us too! talking of ride times I think the plan is to get a session booked with some mates that aren't real coordinated so ya get more time ya self! heh

the durban one is great. Cant remember the price but we used to go their every weekend and it was pretty cheap if you converted back into AU$$. Theres a nice bar right above the flowrider which dulled the pain.

saw few people break bones but mainly becuase they would fall and stick their arms out.
