had great session yesterday at len fox then shearwater yesterday but woke up this morning with bad elbow pain. Anyone else had this and did it turn chronic. What was the (kite related) reason for it.
Fitzy did't you have this drama.... besides the two 18 year old superbats you had move in[}:)] what did you do about it? How is the trip going. You are not missing much here, post some photo of the action over there and include some photos of the kiting as well if ya want!!

Bad luck its very sore, i have the same problem its getting better now because there is no wind.
I have tried creams potions and ice packs, but i have found the best is to put your sore arm straight out in front of you palm facing down.
Then with the other hand pull your fingers back all at the same time and hold it there for about a min do this a few times and it starts to feel better over the days.
I do this on the way to a sesion while waiting at the lights in the car.
I have been told its all about stretching a little muscle at the elbow and it seems to work for me now i wish i had found out about it early on in the season.
good luck

If it does not blow it sucks

I used to get it tennis elbow really bad, to the point i couldn't sail (im a pole surfer) but still there is nothing worse than not being able to go out on the water coz of a stupid pain like that. Anyway, went to a good oesteopath and i haven't had any problems since and that was about 7 months ago, sailing every day i could afterwards. With these sorts of problems most of the time it comes from the neck, funny how the body is like that

if you search the forum this has been answered a few times... adjust your bar setup so that your arms are not overextended
