Im going to exmouth on the 25th of october for a week and staying with family that live there. I would like to get some kiting in if the winds are going to be strong enough up there by then. Where is the norm for flat water spots? Just infront of the light house or is there other good spots? keen to get out up there!! any kiting local info would be a good help, cheers.
in front of the lighthouse is no good, very little beach to launch from and the wind is fluky. sandy bay is the go for flat water or try graveys if there is any swell still hanging around. take your smallest kites.
scotty and em at ningaloo kite & board will help you out, they're on nimitz st
Take em all. Some days you might even need a 5, and other days you'll be sitting around drinking beer because there's no wind. (Just look out for roos on the way home )

Watcha talkin about Laurie, kiters don't drink........ much! Yep take them all sometimes evena 12 is not enough.
Hi TDS, I'll be there with my wife, both kiting from 25-27th Oct. Will be camping in cape range NP. Have been to exmouth a few times, plenty of good spots, flat and wave and the wind likely to be on. let me know if want to hook up, always nice to have a few people to kite with, space/crowding is not a problem up here!
