Mystic Warrior

Usually harnesses end up around my rib cage but the Warrior stays well in place. Works for me

I had a Tabu and didn't realise how bad it was until i lost it at kitestock.
I have since bought a North Styler and think it's the bomb compared to the tabu.

The Mystic Warrior looks like a nice harness but everyone I know that wears one, has a nasty abrasion rash on their hips.

Bellz is right, the Flying Objects Flight Control is da bomb. We are also getting the Pat Love Cast and Quest in a few weeks and they are also supposed to be super sweet too, but can't confirm until I ride with one. Will let you know as soon as I get some first hand experience.

Mystic Warrior for me. Used to have a Darkrider and the warrior is more comfy. I've had no rash problems whatsoever.

Warrior is good for me - I've had mine for a year of soild use and is still in good nick. If your harness is riding up, changing your riding style may help. Try and point your hips forward and straighten your front leg. Keeping the kite at 45 should hold the harness in place. This will also help upwind ability.
I have had a rash from the Warrior but that was in summer after 8 days in a row of kiting.....
One harness that definately won't ride up is the Impact Vest Harness Combo which Dakine make.

Go the Dakine Nitrous shorts, doesnt even feel like you are wearing a harness.

Nick - I have one of these and I don't actually agree with you. It does ride up like any other harness can. The vest part of it just moves up with the harness so the shoulders are up around your ears!!. But as you say proper stance will keep it down.

I am a fat guts though so that does not help.....neither does the webbing constantly coming loose - the Dakine buckles seem to slip.

When tight it does stay in place rather well.

dakine pyro with a slingy surefire spreader bar is the best for me. warrior is comfy but rips the skin off my hips and waist. also if you get a warrior, turn the clip around so it points outwards, otherwise it can come undone when you ride toeside

harnesses are like motorbike helmets, what's comfy for one person is not the same for another. you have to try a few.

Some people have initial issues with the warrior rubbing but like a good pair of shoes they soften up after a while. For me it's my favorite harness.

The North Styler is the one to go for if you think the warrior will be an issue. They hold the bar rock solid and don't ride up at all.

The most important thing no matter what harness you go for is to get the correct size.
